Firestarter

“In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.”Albert Schweitzer
Fire starter bring your primal heat to my place of safety

Tall are the trees that will burn in your fury of heated infamy

Crackling sounds call as newborn flames lick through my glory

Living smooth tongues of burning passion consume and cleanse

The glare’s captured essence of your fires reflected in my eyes

The  power to destroy is close to power to create in chaos

My joyful sorrows light is this forever hellish glow on earth,

My pleasure reborn in an ember embrace of fiery vitality

The Pines – A breeze in the pines

“To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug.” – Helen Keller
Remember, the storm is a good opportunity for the pine and the cypress to show their strength and their stability.” – Ho Chi Minh

I hear the pine needles whispering their lullaby

to me their silent infant

Soft are the blankets laid down by so great a choir

Finding myself in their comforting bosom

My eyes close, resting in natures embrace

This entrancement such a pleasure,

the ancient care of God’s nursemaids.
