The Hand Dealt

“The less you bet, the more you lose when you win.” Bob Nastanovich

Let’s suppose for a moment, that my life’s a poker game.

I’ve been dealt my hand, but there still remains a draw…
I often stop with the hand I’ve been dealt, ignoring
the fact that the draw could turn those cards into a winning hand. At times it’s not the cards that win, it’s the betting of the chips that changes the outcome of the game. So now I wonder, have I bet foolishly with the chips of time I’ve been given? I’ll take my cards and know this, whether with the the draw or the bet, I can win this.
